WLW Meeting 26/05/2015

Sorry for the delay for posting the round of our our meeting on 26th of May 2015. The web monkey couldn’t make it due to work but the notes has reached him now. In total six people made it along to hear some great local writing. Below the break you’ll find out who read what!

This Week’s News

There wasn’t much news this week as Eric‘s book launch for A Clear Solution had taken place last Saturday night so of course we only wanted to talk about that. Over 15 people to hear him read from his novel and answer questions about it. For an example of the questions Eric was asked check out our interview with him.

This Week’s Writing

  • Elderly Befriender – the second half of Susi’s short story. Lottie asks Alison to get her wheel chair back from the ghostly Caroline.
  • Bus Stop – Chris re-read the opening of his new story about a man and woman’s brief encounter at the bus stop each morning after he’d edited it following feedback from our last meeting.
  • [untitled] – Sally read the next part of her children’s book about Jack and his friends
  • The Cone of Doom – the next installment of Eric‘s new book. Hazel, still hungover, find a book of her ex’s filled with names and numbers.
