A couple of weeks ago we had a discussion about writing female characters. Last week we shared an article from Tor.com discussing this issue. You can read that article, Oh No She Didn’t: The Strong Female Character, deconstructed here.
This Saturday is Wooer with Words XII, an excellent chance to try reading out some of your work to a new audience. The event lasts from 2pm till 5pm and is free to attend whether you are reading or not. More information can be found on their Facebook event.
A quick reminder that the next West Lothian Write is on the 20th of March starting at 7pm. It is a great night with the chance to hear lots of new writing come across West Lothian. There are a couple of spaces left but they’ll be gone soon.
