West Lothian Writers was set in 2006 when, due to a change in circumstances, the West Lothian College Writers left the college and set out on their own. Since then the group has gone from strength to strength becoming an independent community group with a large and engaged membership.
We normally meet every two weeks to offer advice and support to each other. We also invite author’s such as Magi Gibson, Sara Sheridan and Allan Guthrie to give workshops and advice. The best way to find out about the next workshop is to keep an eye on our News Feed. We have also organised Writing Retreats and produced member anthologies.

Constitution and AGMs
West Lothian Writers has a Constitution which can be download here. It was updated at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in 2013. We hold our AGM in April every year.
