Today we thought we’d look at the topics of Motivation and Productivity in creative writing with advice from Suzanne Lieurance on Women Writers, Women(‘s) Books and Susan Dennard from The Write Life. Although we should say now that the advice from one of these wonderful women resulted, for the first time I think, a response from WLW website editor. Here at West Lothian Writers we try and provide advice for all kinds of genres of writing. Thanks to the recent visit of David Bishop we’ve been looking at Worldbuilding and we thought this would be a great opportunity to further delve into world of fantasy writing. On the 28th of April we welcomed author and creative writing tutor David Bishop to West Lothian Writers for a second time. After his first successful workshop we asked him back to look at the topic of Worldbuilding. As always David didn’t disappoint and below the break you will find highlights from the workshop including a definition and quite a few exercises for you to try.
